Privacy policy

Account data. When you sign in, we collect your email address and the authentication codes used to verify it. We do not store passwords.

Resume content. The text, history, and target-role information you write into reecv is stored under your account so you can return to it. You own this content.

Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and basic product analytics (which features are used, how often) are collected to keep the service running and improve it.

Payment data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider. reecv does not see or store your full card number.

We use the data above to run the service: authenticate you, save and return your drafts, generate tailored output from the AI models we license, process payments, send transactional email (sign-in codes, receipts, account notices), and improve the product.

We do not use your resume content to train AI models, yours or anyone else's. Drafts you write are not read back into training data.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with the service providers that make reecv work: our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, our AI model provider, our payment processor, our email provider, and our analytics provider. Each of them handles the data under their own terms and only for the purposes of operating their part of the service.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of reecv, our users, or others.

Account and resume data are kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and resume content within thirty days, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.

Server logs and analytics data are retained for a rolling window, typically no longer than a year.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@reecv.app.

You can export your resumes from inside the product, and you can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

reecv uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. We do not use advertising cookies and do not allow third-party advertising trackers on the site.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest by our hosting and database providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your account.

reecv is not intended for use by anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to reecv, write to hello@reecv.app and we will remove it.

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For material changes, we will notify active users by email before the change takes effect.
