Terms of service

The terms that govern your use of reecv. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The agreement

These terms form a binding agreement between you and reecv. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using reecv on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your account

You need an account to use reecv. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email you sign up with and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in email secure. If you believe your account has been used without your permission, write to hello@reecv.app.

reecv is intended for users sixteen and older.

Your content

You own the resume content you write into reecv. By using the service, you grant reecv a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit your content for the sole purpose of operating the product for you (saving drafts, generating tailored output, producing exports).

You are responsible for what you put into reecv. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to share.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use reecv to fabricate qualifications, credentials, or experience you do not have;
  • attempt to access another user's account or data;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying models or service;
  • resell, sublicense, or repackage the service without our written permission;
  • use reecv to send unsolicited messages or to violate any applicable law.

AI-generated output

reecv uses AI models to generate suggested edits and drafts. Output is suggestion, not fact. You are responsible for reviewing every line before you send a resume to a real reader. Do not rely on the output to assert experience or credentials you do not have.

Plans, billing, and refunds

reecv offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then.

We offer refunds within fourteen days of a charge, write to hello@reecv.app and we will process it without a script.

Prices may change. We will give active subscribers at least thirty days' notice before a price change takes effect on their plan.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or to other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

On termination, the rights granted to you under these terms end. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.

Intellectual property

The reecv name, mark, product, design, and software are owned by reecv. These terms do not grant you any rights to those except the limited right to use the service as it is intended.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, reecv disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular output will produce a particular outcome (for example, an interview or an offer).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, reecv will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold reecv harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by reecv's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. For material changes, we will notify active users by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
